How Eagle Mountain Works — Part 3

Bobby Haaby

At Eagle Mountain, we believe healthy ministry begins with healthy people and healthy relationships.

In this final part of How Eagle Mountain Works, we look at the culture and practices that help our teams remain relationally strong, spiritually healthy, and sustainable over time.

We value clear process, not for the sake of control, but because healthy process protects people and relationships. We want to be a community where confidentiality is honored, gossip is addressed, difficult conversations happen biblically, and people can trust that what they share will be handled with integrity.

We also place a high value on self-care. Ministry should never require people to sacrifice their emotional, spiritual, physical, or family health just to keep something running. We would rather adjust what we do than burn people out trying to accomplish it.

Healthy teams also know how to respond when someone is struggling. Whether the need is physical, emotional, relational, or spiritual, our first response is not shame or rejection.

We want to ask:

How can we help you get healthy, and how can we continue to carry the mission together?

At Eagle Mountain, failure is not the end of the story. We believe people can learn, heal, grow, step back when needed, and rise again with renewed strength and vision.

Our goal is to create an environment where people can serve from their strengths, be stretched beyond their comfort zones when God leads, and know they are surrounded by a community committed to their health and success.

Healthy people. Healthy relationships. Healthy teams. That’s part of how we build Kingdom culture together.
