The Culture We’re Building

Bobby Haaby

At Eagle Mountain, our values aren't simply words on a page. They shape how we live, how we build relationships, how we serve, and how we carry the Kingdom into the world around us.

In this video, Bobby shares the values and spiritual DNA that have developed at Eagle Mountain over many years of learning what it looks like to build a healthy, sustainable Kingdom culture.

At the heart of that culture are five foundational values: the presence of God, the Word of God, tribe and family, the 7 C's, and being Kingdom-minded. These values help us understand not only what we do, but why we do it.

We value living from the reality of God's presence and carrying His presence wherever we go.

We value both the written Word of God and learning to recognize His present voice and leading.

We value tribe: being both a family who belongs together and a people equipped and sent to make a difference beyond ourselves.

You'll also be introduced to Eagle Mountain's 7 C's: Character, Commitment, Communication, Consistency, Covenant, Community, and Catalyst. Together, they describe qualities we believe help form people who can carry Kingdom influence with maturity and sustainability.

And we are Kingdom-minded. We want to see the life and culture of Heaven expressed practically, in our church, our relationships, our community, and every sphere of society.

These values affect everyday life at Eagle Mountain. We value learning, excellence without performance, honesty, integrity, loyalty, humility, creativity, preparation, feedback, emotional health, generosity, self-management, healthy risk, and making room for others to succeed.

We want to be people who contribute rather than simply consume and who leave the places we enter better than we found them.

You don't have to arrive knowing all of this. Culture is something we learn and grow into together. Our hope is that as you become part of Eagle Mountain, you'll increasingly understand not only what we value, but discover how these values can shape the way you follow Jesus wherever He sends you.

This is our culture. This is our DNA. And we're building it together.
