The Culture We’re Building — Dreaming With God

God created you with the ability to dream, and we believe your dreams can be an important part of discovering who He created you to be.

In this video, Bobby explores what it means to dream with God and to recover the hope, courage, and imagination that can be lost through disappointment, fear, or simply the pressures of life.

Psalm 126 describes God's people coming out of captivity as being “like those who dream.” Freedom awakened something in them. Their mouths were filled with laughter, their hearts with joy, and they began recognizing again the goodness of God.

At Eagle Mountain, we want to cultivate that kind of environment: one where people aren't taught to shrink their hopes or lower their expectations, but are encouraged to bring their desires before a loving Father and discover what He has placed within them.

Dreaming with God isn't about getting everything we want. It's about relationship. As we delight in Him, our hearts are shaped by His heart, and we begin discovering desires, gifts, callings, and possibilities we may have stopped allowing ourselves to imagine.

Dreams can also bring clarity. They help us recognize which opportunities belong to our assignment and give us courage when opposition comes. They remind us that simply being busy isn't the same thing as moving toward our God-given purpose.

And our dreams aren't only about us. As we encourage the dreams in others, call out the gold in them, and celebrate what God is doing in their lives, we create a culture where hope multiplies.

So here's the invitation:

What would you attempt if you knew you couldn't fail?

What might your life look like if you were ten times more courageous?

One practical way to begin is to write down your dreams. Big dreams. Small dreams. Personal desires. Things you want to experience with God. Things you want to see Him accomplish through your life.

Give yourself permission to dream again, and invite God into the process.

Because part of becoming fully alive in Christ is discovering what He has placed within you and having the courage to pursue it with Him.
