Session 2 – Putting Apostolic Feet to Prophetic Hope – Three Main Components

Prophetic hope must grow legs. Revelation is what God shows. Interpretation is what it means. Application is what we do. In this session we move from hearing to obeying. We honor the one Spirit behind many manifestations and practice simple, safe steps. God’s voice is not always a voice—He also nudges, pictures, impressions, and knowing. Our job is to ask, “What are You saying, what do You mean, and what do You want me to do now?” We will separate discernment from prophecy, and keep love at the center so people are strengthened, encouraged, and comforted. Expect clarity. Expect joy. Expect Jesus to be revealed as we put apostolic feet to prophetic hope.

“Your discernment is the conversation starter.” – Bobby Haaby

Core Takeaways

- Revelation → Interpretation → Application: ask all three questions before acting.

- One Spirit, many manifestations; gifts are grace, not badges of maturity (1 Cor 12).

- Discernment is a thermometer; prophecy is a thermostat that releases Heaven’s answer.

- Office vs gift: all may prophesy; recognized prophets equip and govern for maturity (Eph 4).

- Love and order: the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets; pursue fruit that builds up.
